She was born on March 24, 1919 in Denton County, Texas to Claud A.
Boyd and Jewell (Carroll). She married John Lewis Lane in Collin
County, Texas. She was a homemaker. Athalea is survived by her
Children Weldon F. Bridges and his wife Ramonia of Denton, Texas,
Barbara Cunningham and her husband Richard of Frisco, Texas, T.R. Lane
and his wife Sandra of Ennis, Montana; grandchildren, Jennifer
Bridges, Rick Cunningham, Russell Cunningham, Terry Lane, Randayln
Merriam, Tiffany Moody, John Van Zant; ten great-granchildren; sister,
Dorothy Rolater of Frisco, Texas. Her husband, John Lane; parents,
Claude and Jewell Boyd; grandson, Gregory Bridges, precede her in
death. Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow
Chapel on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 10:00PM. Visitation will be at
Friday, August 4, 2006 from 6:00-8:00PM in Frisco, Texas. Interment
will follow at Little Elm Cemetery.
